Dear User, do you mean you are recording audio only or record both screen and audio.
Please make sure to plug-in the microphone device and camera device before launching the program so that they can be detected 100%.
Meanwhile, please follow the steps below to check sound settings:
1. First, make sure that you are not using Windows XP computer since our program doesn’t support this system. ApowerREC supports Windows 7,8 &10.
2. To record the audio, please ensure that you have select system sound, microphone or both under the sound options.

Then, enter the “Settings” and select your system sound and microphone device under the settings:


3. If you have tried all the steps, please go to “Help”->”Feedback” from the program and send us log file, simply leaving your email and describing your issue there. Our technician will check the issue as soon as we received it. Thank you for your support!
