I like playing computer games, and I used Fraps to record full screen games, but I found that it lagged my PC so much and is complicate to handle. Can anybody recommend a good program that can record gameplay in full size for free? Thanks in advance.

I tried recording Kerbal Space Program. Even though I see the game on screen, when I playback the video, it just freezes right when I start the game. I can record the game windowed, but when I go fullscreen the recording doesn’t work.

I downloaded the free trial to try out, but cannot record a full screen game. I selected the fullscreen option but when my game opens the program continues to record the desktop instead of the game (but it does record all the sounds of the game which is weird). None of these replies so far have fixed my issues

    Now that you can’t record your game in full screen, you can try the solutions below:

    Solution 1: Change your game’s display mode to DirectX 3D. Generally, you can do this in the Output option located under the game’s Settings.

    Solution 2: Set your game in windowed mode (not full-screen). To know how to set your game into windowed mode, you can paste this text “How Do I Put _____ into windowed mode” into Google, fill the blank with your game’s name.
