Hi, I’m trying to record a window with it’s sound, and me commenting through the microphone.
I select the sys sound and mic audio input, then select the source (speakers and microphone) and the recording goes fine.
The problem is that while it’s recording I can hear myself speaking through my headphones, and I can’t concentrate.
How can I stop this from happening, because everything I try gets me to recording sys sound or mic, but not both at the same time, unless I hear myself speaking while recording. When I stop recording I can still hear myself talking, but if I close Apowersoft Free Screen Recorder, it stops…
Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

Do you use a laptop? I mean, its speakers and microphone are fixed close together, this will usually cause sound feedback. So if you use, you will hear your voice echoing. But, you can follow the steps below to reduce the boring sound.
First, you can lower the volume of the speakers
You can also move the microphone further away from the speakers
Last, if you use a laptop, you’d better use a handset insteadAnd we are working it out. Hope this can help you.

GuestGuest2013-06-08 15:10 #3Hi, thanks for the reply.
I don’t use laptop, I use a desktop computer.
I am using a headset, and the there is no echoing or stuff like that.
I clearly hear myself speaking, like the headphones reproduce everything the mic gets with a 0,5 seconds delay.
It’s like I can hear what is being recorded by the program. It should get recorded, but I shouldn’t be hearing it live, cause no one hearse themselves speaking to their tem mates in Counter Strike or other games, but when people upload videos to youtube their voice is there, but they havem’t been hearing it while playing, only the team mates did.saludos:D

Loudspeakers and microphone are so close that they usually cause sound feedback inevitably, so you may try to shut down the loudspeaker box. I think this would be better. If it still occurs some sound, you’d better take your headset off. No worries, it won’t record the sound in your recording videos. You can give it a shot.

IanGuest2014-04-15 16:15 #5Hi
I am having the same issue.
I am using a headset with attached microphone (Not speakers and not an external mic)
I want to record VOIP conversations, so record both my voice into the mic and the output into my ears (the person I am speaking to)
The problem is when I speak I hear what I have just said (with a slight delay) in my headset – so
I speak in to microphone –> 0.5 second delay –> I hear myself in my headphones
Microphone sound2014-04-30 08:54 #6Sorry, currently, due to Windows limitations, there is no good way to record sound from speaker and microphone at the same time, there is a little out of sync, we can only improve it but no way to get rid of it.
If you are using Screen Recorder Pro, you can adjust the total buffer and buffers value to a smaller value (for example 100 and 10) to improve it.Microphone sound
SheldonGuest2016-08-24 10:21 #7I was having the same issue and I found that I had multiple virtual audio devices listed for Apowersoft. By right clicking on the little speaker icon in the taskbar and viewing playback and recording devices, I found that there were three microphone devices and three speaker devices for Apowersoft. By disabling all but one of the microphones and speakers, I was able to completely remove the echo.

Hi, Sheldon!
Our V2.X new version of Screen Recorder Pro does not require virtual sound card for recording, therefore, users can easily record screen with audio from system sound, microphone or both. If you have already the latest version (V2.1.4) of it, you can go to playback and recording device in speaker settings, and remove/disable all the Apowersoft visual sound card. For other issue, you can directly contact us via our support email address: support@
