Please refer to the suggestions below, reboot computer and try to record again to check whether it works fine.
Please don’t change the audio input/output device in System Preference when it’s recording.
Make sure you can hear the computer sound successfully and then run our screen recorder.
Make sure your computer system sound volume is above 60%.
