We usually take remote meeting through Team Viewer, sometimes the meeting would be very important to us, so I want to record Team Viewer session, however, I don’t know how to do. Any methods recommended? Thanks in advance.

Method one: Using built-in recorder of Team Viewer

You can record Team Viewer session with a built-in recorder of Team Viewer.

Step one: Launch Team Viewer and begin a meeting. You can host a meeting or join the meeting by entering the meeting ID.

Step two: Once your devices are connected, an operate box would emerge, click the setting icon of Screen sharing> Record meeting> Start button to start recording. Press stop button to finish recording and save the video as your local file.

Plus, you can check and convert the video recorded this way by pressing the Extras button in the main interface, and then click the option of “play and convert recorded screen”.

As soon as the video plays, you will see a player to control over the playback, click the convert button, select the options according to your requirements.

You could also enable auto record meeting:
Go to the buttons of main interface Extras> options> meeting> auto record meeting. After that the program will record Team Viewer session automatically.

There’re two limits of the built-in recorder of Team Viewer should be noticed.

• The format of the video recorded by Team Viewer is .tvs which can only accessed by Team Viewer. It takes an extra step to convert the recorded file to common media formats for watching with other player tools.
• The image quality and fluency of the video are not so satisfying.

The following method is strongly recommended comparing with built-in recorder of Team Viewer. You could record Team Viewer session without any hassles.

Method two: Free online Screen recorder
