Recovering recorded data when crashing?

Hi!

I use Apowersoft Screen Recorder Pro 2 to record long segments (up to 2 hours). Sometimes the program quietly crashes in the background without any notice. It also has a tendency to hang when processing the large recorded data after hitting the stop key and only write the header data into the final file.

Is the raw data stored somewhere in a temp location in my hard drive, or is the recorded data forever lost when these things happen?

I use Windows 7 64 bit
I have 1TB+ of free space
16 GB ram
Record “follow mouse” 720p

Hi there,

I lost an important interview after the recording didn’t save. Is anyone able to help me recover?

Hi Beccoe, thanks for your reply. Did you lost the video because you forgot to save after recording or because the software crash? If you forgot to save, there’s no way to recover the files, if the tool crash, you can find the temporary files and combine the video with audio using the Video Editor.

recording lost i find in the temp file audio separate and video separate now i want to combine in video editor but its say invalid format video is not playing while audio is playing in this case what should be do to enable the video to play i will edit in video editor pls guide me
