May I know what program you were using to record? Please update the program to the latest version by going to our official website.
If you are using ApowerREC, we’ve added two options to it, they are “Use hard coding to improve performance” and “Improve screen capture efficiency (recommended)”, if you record a black screen, please try to uncheck one of the options. If the problem still exists, please uncheck both options.
To do this, please go to “Settings” > “Recording”, and find this two options “Use hard coding to improve performance” and “Improve screen capture efficiency (recommended)” and uncheck them.

If you are using Win 7: Check whether your graphics card supports to “Use hard coding to improve performance”. If yes, go to “Settings” > “Recording” and uncheck this option. If not, please send us a feedback from the program.
